Girls’ Wrestling: Millikan Finishes Eighth

The Millikan girls wrestling team finished eighth as a team at the CIF State meet, with 47 total points (Selma won the championship with 142 points). Junior Sierra Adams-Gregory finished third in the 189-pound weight class, Stephany Arriaga was 7^th in the 137-pound and Liz Mata was eighth in the 101-pound.

An LBC native, Mike Guardabascio has been covering Long Beach sports professionally for 13 years, with his work published in dozens of Southern California magazines and newspapers. He's won numerous awards for his writing as well as the CIF Southern Section’s Champion For Character Award, and is the author of three books about Long Beach history.
