Jordan took its lumps in the season opening loss to Aliso Niguel, but first-year coach Tim Wedlow is confident his team will bounce back tonight against Rancho Dominguez Prep at home.
“The kids never stopped fighting against Aliso Niguel,” Wedlow said. “They’re starting to pick up the new system, and we’re taking last week more as a scrimmage since we didn’t have one.”
Jordan lost quarterback Elias Ramirez to injury last week, and receiver/defensive back Anthony Scott finished the game. He will get the start this week against a Rancho Dominguez team opening its season.
