The Jordan football program is coming off of its first victory since 2016, and is facing another local program that has struggled recently. The Panthers visit Lynwood at 7 tonight where the Knights only have one winning season in the last decade.
Lynwood (0-1-1) was shutout 21-0 in the season opener at Hamilton, and played Los Angeles Jordan to a 28-28 tie last week.
In the win over Rancho Dominguez, Jordan junior Anthony Scott racked up 178 total yards and three touchdowns in his first start at quarterback. He also had a team-high nine tackles in the defensive backfield.
