For the first time since October 16, 2015, the Jordan Panthers are on a win streak. One week after posting their first win in 12 games, the Panthers put up a running clock against Lynwood and went on to win easily, 47-7.
It’s the first time Jordan has started a season 2-1 since 2011, John Ross’ junior year with the Panthers. Jordan got several big plays including a 98-yard kickoff return for a touchdown by Deshon Harris and an interception return for a touchdown by Malachi Scott that made it 47-7 at halftime. The entire second half was played with a running clock.
Jordan (2-1) will have a shot to improve to 3-1 next week when the Panthers travel to Exelsior School to face Norwalk (0-3).
