The Long Beach City College football team will open its season tonight at Veterans Memorial Stadium against Grossmont at 5 p.m.
The Vikings are coming off a string of conference championships and Bowl Game wins and have big hopes for the 2018 season.
The last time LBCC played Grossmont was in 2009 when the Vikings suffered a 21-9 loss on the road. Grossmont went 4-5 last season.
