The Lancers return all five starters from last year’s team, which finished third in the Moore League, and coach Eric Oswell is hoping for an even better finish this season. Those hopes ride at least in part on the shoulders of Asia Jordan, the Lancers’ best player.
Through four games this season (2-2), Jordan is averaging 16.5 points per game.
“She’s primed for a Player of the Year season,” said Oswell.
Other top Lancers include point guard Sam Tolentino and Ara Burkhalter.
