The Cabrillo Jaguars’ water polo program is going through a renaissance, with the boys’ program making the CIF-SS semifinals in the Fall. Head coach Emily View is building the girls’ program as well, after the Jaguars got off to a 2-2 start.
The team has only two seniors, but a host of young talent including sophomore Alexandra Pasten, who had 15 goals in the team’s first four games, as well as two-meter guard Esmeralda Torres.
“We would like to get out first league victory and continue building momentum into a more successful program,” said View.
The Jaguars will face Millikan on Wednesday in the Moore League showcase.
