Andy and JJ speak briefly about how fans, alumni and anyone with a stake in Long Beach State Athletics can participate in submissions for the new mascot. Then we turn our attention to the Dirtbags, who open the season this weekend with a great preview, taking to both head coach Troy Buckley and shortstop Laine Huffman.
