The Rams lost the Moore League’s largest senior class and will feature a first-year head coach in Romeo Pellum. Rams fans who are eager to see if Millikan can keep up their position as second-best in the Moore League will have plenty of good opportunities to do so with a challenging schedule.
Millikan opens against a tough but beatable Carson team and will close their nonleague schedule against La Mirada, a public school regional power that won a state title under head coach Mike Moschetti, who has returned to coach them in 2019. August 30 will be exciting for local football fans with the return of Thadd MacNeal, the Lakewood coaching great who’s been at Carlsbad since departing the Lancers program.
