Changes at the top continues to be the theme of our Moore League fall previews. In boys’ water polo, that starts with the Wilson Bruins who find themselves in uncharted waters. Meanwhile Cabrillo is coming off a historic season, but have to start from scratch again, and Poly just hosted the first ever Long Beach Invitational last weekend.
The tournament field was deep with Wilson, Millikan, Jordan, St. John Bosco, Mission Viejo, Corona del Mar and San Clemente all on hand. Two days of games were hosted across the city at Poly, Wilson, Cabrillo, Jordan and the Belmont Outdoor Pool where the Bruins lost to Corona del Mar in the championship game 10-8 on Saturday.
