The Cabrillo Jaguars hit the road tonight for a winnable game at John Glenn High School in Norwalk. This is their first meeting since they were in the Suburban League together in 2002.
Glenn (1-1) allowed 78 points in a loss last week after beating Savanna 54-20 in the season opener. The Eagles have a strong and balanced rushing attack that has averaged 7.4 yards per carry, so the Cabrillo defensive front seven will have its hands full.
“They’re a disciplined team that is young and hungry,” Cabrillo coach Mike Ulufale said of Glenn. “They’re less experienced than our first two opponents. It should be a good game.”
Cabrillo blanked Bellflower 20-0 in the season opener and fell to Summit 42-6 at home last week.
