The band is playing a little louder in North Long Beach tonight after Jordan won its home opener against Norwalk, 20-13.
The victory puts Jordan’s record at 3-0 for the first time since 2008, when John Timu was the Moore League Player of the Year. Jordan will enter next week’s Moore League opener against Millikan with a lot of pride and momentum.
“Everyone is really happy, I told them about it being the first time since 2008 and they jumped up with joy,” said Jordan coach Tim Wedlow.
The Panthers led the entire game after touchdowns from Jaylon Morgan, who had an 88 yard touchdown return on a kickoff, Nehemiah Condon, who had an 85-yard touchdown reception, and Alex Faaea, who had a five-yard touchdown run.
