The Avalon 8-Man football team is putting up incredible offensive statistics this season, and the Lancers will be looking for more big numbers when they host Flintridge Prep on Catalina at 5 p.m. on Friday.
Avalon (2-2, 1-0) is averaging 48 points per game with quarterback Antonio Ramos and receiver Beto Martinez leading the way. Ramos has 10 passing touchdowns and six rushing touchdowns. The senior also leads the Lancers with 410 yards rushing. Martinez is averaging 200 yards receiving per game with 10 touchdowns.
According to MaxPreps, the Avalon offense ranks in the Top-10 in receiving yards for California high schools.
Flintridge Prep (4-0) has a strong offense as well and has outscored its opponents 210-68.
