Wilson is hitting the road and hoping to get back to winning ways tonight at Jordan where the Panthers are trying to ride the momentum of a comeback win last week. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Wilson (6-1, 2-1) dropped its first game of the season to Long Beach Poly last week, and will have to overcome some injuries this week. The Bruins haven’t lost to Jordan since 2012, and will look for their defense to bounce back with a strong performance.
Jordan (4-2, 1-2) needs a win to stay in the hunt for a postseason spot. The Panthers have relied heavily on running back Jakob Smith as of late, and the junior is averaging 7.1 yards per carry.
Wilson is No. 4 in CIF-SS Division 7.
