We are proud to announce that our fifth Athlete Of The Month award brought to you by Johnny B. Hair Care goes to Avalon football star Adalberto Martinez for the month of October.

Martinez is a three-sport star at Avalon and leads the nation in receiving yards for 8-Man football players, according to MaxPreps. The junior racked up 25 receptions, 825 yards and 12 touchdowns in four games last month.

The Lancers start the CIF Southern Section Division 1 8-Man football playoffs on Friday.
