After Isaiah Washington game LBSU a 4-0 lead with a fancy layup, USF went on a 13-0 run thanks to hot shooting from behind the arc. The Beach got a spark off the bench from Trevor Irish and tied the game 14-14 after a 10-2 run.
USF extended its lead to 23-14 at the eight-minute timeout, and was up 44-25 by halftime. The Dons stayed hot from the floor and continued to build its lead throughout the second half.
