The wildly successful Wilson boys’ and girls’ golf programs are officially looking for a new coach, the school announced Monday.
After the sudden passing of head golf coach Kurt Holmes in December 2020, Jeff Evans returned as the interim boys’ and girls’ golf coach for this Spring season. It was his 14th season at the helm, and he’s stepping down at the end of the year as planned.
Wilson has already begun to search for a replacement. The girls’ season (August – November) has a stipend of $4,400.15, and the boys’ season (February – May) has a stipend of $4,400.15. They are both walk-on coaching positions. Any person who is interested needs to email a resume and two letters of recommendation to Evans at JAEvans@LBSchools.net. Applications will be accepted until Monday, May 3.
