The Wilson boys’ and girls’ golf teams used top performances from their top golfers to beat Millikan on Thursday at El Dorado Park Golf Course.
Matthew Schafer has three birdies and an eagle on his way to the medalist honors with a 3-under par round of 33 as the Wilson boys (7-3, 6-0) defeated Millikan 196-206.
Jet Adame added a round of 38 for the Bruins that included two birdies, and Josh Balogh and Ethan Nash were the low finishers for the Rams with rounds of 40.
On the girls’ side, Emi Sverduk made four birdies on her way to claiming the medalist honors with a 2-under par round of 34. Wilson (4-5, 4-0) beat Millikan 211-261 which ties the season low for the Bruins.
Alyson Sor added a round of one over par 37 for the Bruins that included two birdies. Emma Ashcraft was the low Millikan finisher with 45.
