Long Beach Poly (9-5) hit the road for a trip to Perris in the first round of the CIF-SS Division 3 volleyball playoffs earlier this week. The Jackrabbits prevailed with a 25-21, 22-25, 25-16, 25-19 victory.
Poly was led by Robert Jones, who had 20 kills and five blocks, Malcolm King, who had 18 kills and two aces, and setter Nathan Cheav, who had 38 assists and 10 digs.
The Jackrabbits host Damien tonight at 6:30 p.m.
