For the first time in two years the Long Beach State men’s basketball team is planning to playing a full schedule of games starting on Nov. 10 at Idaho.
The Beach will also try once again to play UCLA at Pauley Pavilion on Nov. 15 after the last-minute cancellation last year.
LBSU will host Utah Valley for the home opener at Walter Pyramid on Nov. 17, and the rest of the nonconference schedule includes trips to San Diego State and USC. The marquee home game before Big West Conference play begins is against Loyola Marymount University on Dec. 4.
The conference schedule will start at the end of Dec. with a road trip to Cal Poly and CSU Bakersfield. The Beach closes the season at home against UC Davis on Mar. 3 before facing UC Riverside on Senior Night on Mar. 5.
The Big West Tournament will include all conference teams this year, and will be held Mar. 8-12 at the Dollar Loan Center in Henderson, Nevada.
