After scoring late in the first round an early lead held up for St. Anthony softball in the CIF SoCal Softball Championships Division III semifinal at Granite Hills on Tuesday.
St. Anthony’s Nata Leomiti and Miracle McKenzie had back-to-back home runs in the first inning while Saints pitcher Rose Cano racked up 10 strikeouts in a 7-4 win over top-seeded Granite Hills.
St. Anthony will travel to Temple City on Saturday for the championship game. First pitch is 4 p.m.
