Wilson and St. Anthony are only separated by thee miles but they’ll have to travel a little bit further tonight for the “Battle for 7th Street” rivalry game. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy for a Saints home game because of Clark Field construction.
For the second straight year, both the Bruins (0-2) and the Saints (0-3) are looking for their first victory of the season in this local matchup. Raul Lara picked up his first win as coach in this game last year. CLICK HERE to see coverage of that game.
Wilson has won five of seven meetings with St. Anthony since 2014. The only other Saints victory came in 2017.
Wilson was victim of another slow start last week in a loss to Huntington Beach while St. Anthony dropped a close game with Dominguez.
