The Moore League schedule starts tonight and one of the three games is at Wilson where the Bruins are hosting the Millikan Rams. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
This matchup features two teams looking to set the tone for their league season.
Millikan (3-1) is coming off consecutive high-scoring wins and is looking for a big victory because the Rams want to build momentum headed into games with Jordan and Long Beach Poly in the coming weeks.
Wilson (0-3) is coming off losses that saw their offense only score 20 combined points and the Bruins want to reset their season with an upset.
Last year, Millikan beat Wilson in the season finale 35-12 and that also meant the Rams beat Lakewood and Wilson in the same season for only the sixth time in school history.
At halftime on Friday there will be a Wilson Athletic Hall Of Fame ceremony for Gayle Godwin, Cecilia Noel, Glennis Seldon, Mackenzie Hill and Denise LaKeisha Backus.
