Millikan football is back in action after they enjoyed their Moore League bye week by giving back to the community.
The Rams travel to Cabrillo to take on the Jaguars in one of three games that wraps up the league regular season on Friday night. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Millikan quarterback Myles Jackson is looking to put another big statistical night to cap an impressive regular season. The junior has 2,687 yards passing and 36 touchdowns, according to MaxPreps.
The Rams (4-5, 3-1) have scored 50 or more points in their last two games, and sit second-place in league regardless of Friday night’s outcome. Millikan is likely headed to Division 4 for the upcoming CIF Southern Section playoffs.
Cabrillo (0-9, 0-5) and its offense led by quarterback Luis Haro and running back Bobo Jackson will need to control the ball and the clock to keep Millikan’s offense off the field. Jackson had some success against Jordan’s defense last week.
Last year, Millikan beat Cabrillo 62-0. The Jaguars haven’t beaten the Rams since 2015.
