Thursday was a historically great day for Long Beach playoff teams, as they went 8-2 to advance to the next round. Today, three teams will try to make it to the playoffs’ second week.

Boys’ Basketball

Division 4AA: Wilson vs. St. Monica Prep, 7 p.m.

Division 4A: Jordan at Liberty, 7 p.m.

Girls’ Soccer

Division 2: Long Beach Poly vs Claremont, 5 p.m.
