Long Beach Wilson alum and international water polo legend Tony Azevedo has a unique history in his sport, and last week he got a unique tattoo to match it. Azevedo is the only American ever to compete in five Olympics in water polo, and one of the few Americans to ever compete in five Olympics, period (Long Beach State alum Danielle Scott-Arruda is another).
Last week Tony visited Outer Limits Tattoo in Long Beach, the nation’s oldest continually-operating tattoo parlor, and got some special ink: it’s the name of the five Olympic cities he competed in. Simple, powerful, and swaggy beyond belief.
