On paper, it looked like a competitive first-round playoff baseball game. St. Anthony went on the road for its first-round Division 6 game against Desert Christian with just a 3-9 league record and a 13-12 overall record. Their host was 11-8 on the season.
As it turned out, the game was not competitive, to say the least, as St. Anthony went on to win 37-0.
That score is not a typo. 37-0 was the final score.
The Saints had been averaging 7.4 runs per game.
After their big win, St. Anthony will host Rowland on Tuesday at Clark Field in the second round.
