Wilson is trying to go 2-0 for just the second time in more than 16 years with a victory over visiting San Jacinto tonight. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
The Bruins started their highly anticipated season with a win over Mayfair last week while San Jacinto beat Great Oak 30-6. The Tigers lost to Culver City in the CIF-SS Division 7 championship game last season.
Wilson coach Mark Ziegenhagen said that containing San Jacinto junior quarterback Kajiya Hollawayne will be the key to success. Hollawayne passed for 3,150 yards and 26 touchdowns last year while rushing for 616 yards and eight touchdowns.
