Long Beach State men’s basketball have brought in another elite talent and Division I transfer this week. Point guard Isaiah Washington will join the Beach after stops at Iona and Minnesota. He was also named Mr. Basketball in the state of New York during his prep career.
“Washington has the ability to create his own shot, make players around him better, and help push our pace back where we like it,” LBSU coach Dan Monson said. “He has one year of eligibility left in his college career, and we think he will have the opportunity to make it a great one at the Beach.”
