It’s been a rough stretch for Compton High and coach Lorenzo Redick, as the Tarbabes have been operating without a practice field. With Compton High’s new campus under construction, the school has been temporarily relocated to a middle school–that’s been hard but technically possible for the school’s football and basketball teams, but there’s no baseball field at the campus.
Compton went 0-12 last year in the Moore League and didn’t play any games outside of the league schedule. This year they’ll look to rebound and try to get moving in the right direction, while awaiting the re-opening of Compton High (with a brand new baseball facility as well).
